Roles and access
What each kind of account can do. A member becomes an organizer by creating an event.
Who does what
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Visitor | Browse and search events, open event pages and download calendar files. No account needed. |
| Member | Any signed-in account. Registers for events, manages its own registrations and profile, and proposes events. |
| Organizer | The owner or a co-organizer of an event. Edits that event, its program and registration form, and manages its registrations. |
Organizer is per event
Organizer is not an account type. The account that creates an event is its owner, and the owner can add up to nine co-organizers by email. Organizer access covers that event only. See Co-organizers.
Event review
IES staff review every submitted event before it goes public. See Review and publishing.
